Safety instructions:

  • We generally recommend that our accessory products are fitted and converted by a workshop. The following installation instructions are no substitute for experience and specialist knowledge. Please ensure that your motorcycle is stable before starting work on your vehicle. This product may only be used for the motorcycle type mentioned and listed on the usage list. Do not attempt to fit this product to a motorcycle of a different make, model or year. Always use the manufacturer's torque specifications.
  • Protect your motorcycle in the work area. Cover the tank, frame, fairing and other sensitive parts with suitable materials. We recommend using a work platform and an adjustable jack to support the motorcycle on the engine/frame.
  • Check all parts before, during and after each assembly stage. Clean and degrease all surfaces of the parts before assembly. Take care during the assembly process so that the motorcycle is not damaged or scratched. Work in a relaxed and concentrated manner. Use a threadlocker, e.g. LOCTITE, for bolts under load.
  • Check and make sure that the part is not in contact with other parts of the motorcycle. All moving parts must be able to move freely.

Why Lowering?

🧍‍ Enhanced security and control

  • Stability when stopping: Especially in stop-and-go traffic or at traffic lights, it is important to stand securely on the ground with both feet. This reduces the risk of losing your balance — especially with heavy machines.
  • Better handling when maneuvering: When rolling backwards, parking, or pushing the motorcycle, a low center of gravity is worth its weight in gold. You can control the bike more easily without contorting yourself.

🧠‍ More confidence and driving comfort

  • Psychological advantage: When you feel safe, you ride more relaxed. A lower seat height can boost your confidence in your riding skills — especially for beginners or those getting back into riding.
  • Less stress in critical situations: Whether on steep terrain, in strong winds, or when turning in tight spaces, a lower motorcycle gives you more control and reduces uncertainty.

🛠️‍ Individual adjustment to physique and riding style

  • Ergonomic benefits: If you have short legs, for example, lowering the seat can optimize your sitting position and prevent tension—especially on longer rides.
  • Better balance when getting on and off: No more fumbling around when getting on or risky dismounting on sloping ground — you simply have more room to maneuver.
